EOL and alerts
Part statuses
Every part with an EOL configured moves through five statuses as it accrues life:

|---|---|
| Fresh | Early in its life. |
| Mid-life | Past half of the warning threshold. |
| Warning | Past the Warn % of its category (default 75%). |
| Critical | Past the Critical % (default 90%). |
| Over limit | At or past 100% of its (effective) EOL. |
Parts whose category has no EOL show grey ("No EOL") — not a false "fresh". With multi-unit lifing, the status shown is the worst dimension (km, hours, events or expiry) — whichever cycle ends first drives the alert.
The part detail panel
Click any part to open its panel. You'll find:
- Mileage bar and % used — how much of its life it has consumed (respecting Target use %).
- History + projection chart — accumulated km per event, the EOL line, and a projection over upcoming events estimating at which event it will hit EOL.
- EOL forecast — remaining km and events until EOL, with a heads-up when replacement is due soon.
- Per-event breakdown — km added at each event.
- Measurements / Notes / Rebuilds — measurement history, inspection notes, rebuild log.
- Label tab — printable QR label, also as SVG for laser engraving.
All these figures are consistent with each other and with every list (Inventory, Fleet, Dashboard) — they come from a single calculation engine.
Where to see wear at a glance
- Dashboard — project KPIs, parts near EOL, total km and km by category.
- Inventory — every part with its EOL bar; filter by category; see retired parts.
- Fleet — per-car view: total km and per-car alerts.
