Your first event
Steps 3–5 of the in-app checklist: "Create a championship", "Link a track to it", "Create an event".
1. Create a championship
In Settings → Events, create the championship your project races in (e.g. "FREC 2026"). Events belong to a championship.
2. Link tracks to it
Add tracks to the championship in the same screen. The Event form only offers tracks linked here.
:::warning The track length is the conversion factor A track's lap length (km) is what turns laps into kilometres — a wrong length gives wrong mileage on every part. Double-check it when you add the track. Mileage recalculates automatically if you fix it later. :::
3. Create the event
Go to "Events" and create the event with "Add event" (or click a day in the calendar). Pick the circuit.
4. Build the sessions
Open the event and go to the "Build" tab. There you manage the weekend's sessions:
- "Add session" — one per run (FP1, Qualifying, Race…), or apply a session template to create the whole weekend in one click.
- Edit or delete sessions from the session itself.
- Each session has a "Completed" checkbox — this matters a lot for mileage; see logging laps.
You can add, change or delete sessions at any time — kilometres recalculate automatically, always.
