Troubleshooting & FAQ

:::tip Ask the app first Stuck on something? Click the ? in the top bar of ICRX and ask in your own words, in English. The assistant answers from these same pages and can take you straight to the right screen. It's included in your plan — see the assistant. :::

"I logged laps but the part still shows 0 km."

The session isn't marked "Completed". Only completed sessions count towards wear — tick the box and the km appear instantly. (Why it works this way.)

"A part's km don't add up."

Three things to check, in order:

  1. Is the event's track length correct? It's the laps→km conversion factor.
  2. Was the part actually mounted on that car in that session? Check the session's setup in the Build tab.
  3. Is the session completed?

Still off? The full math is published in the mileage reference — if you can't reproduce a number from that page, it's a bug and we want to hear about it.

"A part shows grey / 'No EOL'."

Its category has no EOL configured. Set an EOL (km, hours, events or expiry) on the category and the bar appears.

"The laps field is locked."

Either the session is marked "Completed" (untick to edit) or the season is closed. Closed seasons freeze their data to protect the historical record — an admin can reopen the season from Settings → Seasons, fix the data, and close it again.

"I deleted a session by mistake."

Its laps (and the km they contributed) disappear with it. Recreate the session and re-enter the laps — everything recomputes automatically.

"My screen shows old data / I can't save."

Look at the top of the app: the connection banner tells you exactly what's happening — offline (red), live sync lost (amber), or recovered and refreshed (green).

"I don't see an organization / project I expect."

Check the context pill (top left): you may be in another organization or project. If you were invited recently, make sure you accepted the invite with the same email it was sent to.

Reporting a problem

When something looks wrong, include three things:

  1. Where — the page and, if relevant, the part/set serial and event.
  2. What you expected vs what you saw — a screenshot of the number or message helps enormously.
  3. When — time and timezone; it lets us match server logs.

Send it to your team admin or through your usual ICRX support channel — and if it's about a number, remember every formula is published here, which usually makes the conversation very short.
